Our legal & litigation commitments
Contracting on clear,
documented terms
Pure Aviation aims to contract on clear, documented terms, using standardised templates where appropriate and ensuring that counterparties understand the structure, obligations and governing law of each agreement.
Working within defined legal & compliance frameworks
Activities sit inside formal legal and compliance frameworks, including documented anti‑corruption and conduct policies and defined approval paths for higher‑risk decisions, counterparties and structures.
Structured approach to disputes & investigations
Disputes, claims and investigations follow structured playbooks that emphasise early assessment, documentation, appropriate escalation and cooperation with specialist external counsel where required.
Protecting counterparties, people & information
The firm treats commercial, personal and operational information with care, handling sensitive material through controlled channels and keeping legal records organised so counterparties and stakeholders can understand how issues have been managed.

Contracting framework
& governance
Contracts at Pure Aviation are not treated as stand‑alone documents. They sit inside a governance framework that defines how deals are structured, who can approve which terms, and how obligations are monitored over time.
- Standard documentation where possible. Preference for clear, contract‑led structures using standard terms and clearly defined governing law and jurisdiction, with variations documented and approved.
- Defined approval paths. Higher‑risk terms, new counterparties and unusual structures follow defined approval routes that bring in senior management, legal and compliance input where appropriate.
- Record‑keeping and audit trail. Contracting processes are supported by documentation and record‑keeping so that decisions, approvals and variations can be understood and reconstructed if needed.
- Link to risk & compliance. Contracting activity connects to broader risk and compliance processes so that legal, commercial and operational teams share the same understanding of key obligations.

Disputes, claims & investigations
When disputes, claims or investigations arise, Pure Aviation follows structured processes designed to support early assessment, clear internal escalation and accurate record-keeping. Matters are reviewed against the relevant contractual and factual position, with specialist external counsel engaged where appropriate and communications handled through defined channels.
When disputes, claims or investigations arise, Pure Aviation follows structured
playbooks that focus on early assessment, documentation and appropriate escalation.
Initial reviews concentrate on understanding the underlying facts, contractual positions and practical options. Relevant documents, correspondence and approvals are gathered and preserved so that external counsel and counterparties can see how matters have developed over time.
- Early situation assessment. Identify key facts, obligations, risks and potential outcomes at an early stage.
- Clear escalation paths. Escalate matters through defined reporting lines so that senior management, legal and compliance are involved where appropriate.
- Use of specialist external counsel. Engage specialist external lawyers when needed, particularly where proceedings are threatened or commenced, or where local law issues arise.
- Cooperative, documented engagement. Wherever possible, work with counterparties, advisers and regulators on a documented, cooperative basis that supports fair and efficient resolution.

Working with advisers,
counterparties & regulators
Pure Aviation recognizes that legal and litigation matters often involve multiple stakeholders. The firm aims to work constructively with counterparties, external counsel and regulators while protecting its own position and that of its partners.
- Clear, documented communication. Use clear written communication to minimise ambiguity and maintain a reliable record of discussions and decisions.
- Appropriate information sharing. Share information on a need‑to‑know basis, with appropriate protections for confidential and commercially sensitive material.
- Consistent positions. Maintain consistent positions across contractual, operational and public‑facing communications, so that stakeholders receive aligned messages.
- Respect for regulatory processes. Engage with regulatory and investigative processes in a timely, structured way, supported by appropriate documentation and specialist advice.

Current state of play for
legal & litigation
A small number of litigation and regulatory matters are documented in an internal register. Detailed case‑by‑case summaries are available to qualified counterparties under NDA through formal due‑diligence channels. Most matters have been resolved or are progressing in line with expectations, and the small number that remain open do not change Pure Aviation’s standing as a going concern or its ability to operate.
Questions about legal or litigation matters?
If you need more detail on how Pure Aviation structures contracts, manages disputes or works with advisers and regulators, the team can provide fuller information through formal duediligence, subject to NDA.
